A paddle Steamer on the Loire, a First and a World Exclusive

Unheard of, sailing on the Loire in a river cruise ship! We could not, however, deprive our customers of the discovery of this royal river, leading to the most beautiful castles in France.

CroisiEurope has now tamed the last wild river in Europe with a construction, exclusively worldwide, and in partnership with the shipyard of Saint-Nazaire, of a paddle wheeled ship, the Loire Princess, that won the "Innovation Award" river tourism 2014.

This was 100 years after the last river taxis had sailed this river and is a testament to the skills of our technical teams.

In 2016, the year of its 40th anniversary, CroisiEurope inaugurated a second rear paddle boat this time, the MS Elbe Princess, to reach the heart of the beautiful cities of Prague and Berlin. She was joined in 2018 by her sister ship, Elbe Princess II, also on the Elbe.

Thanks to these boats specifically designed for shallow water, CroisiEurope is the only company to sail long seasons on the Loire and the Elbe.
