CRUISE HIGHLIGHTS
THE CROISIEUROPE DIFFERENCE
Passengers are welcome to board our ship at 6:00 p.m. After comfortably settling into your cabins, we'll introduce our crew at a welcome cocktail. Tonight we'll enjoy dinner and an evening of traditional Titi Parisien show on board. This evening, we'll enjoy a cruise through Paris at night(1). Our ship will remain in the heart of Paris overnight.
We'll spend the morning cruising on the Canal Saint-Martin in the heart of authentic Parisian neighborhoods.
The afternoon will be dedicated to a guided tour of Paris, bringing you to some of the important sites in the French capital: The Place de la Republique, the grand boulevards, Palais Garnier, Madeleine Church, Place Vendôme, and the Louvre. Leaving from the Palais-Royal, we'll walk through the unique Parisian covered walkways. Not only do they serve as shortcuts for pedestrians, but Shiseido, JP Gauthier, Stella Mac Cartney and many more adorn it with luxury and extravangance. We'll return on board the ship at the Quai d'Austerlitz.
Join us on a guided tour of the Saint-Germain-des-Prés district, one of the truly legendary places where history, architecture, art, and society best symbolize the soul of Paris. We'll depart by coach from the Trocadéro, driving along the Voie Triomphale, the Arc de Triomphe, the Champs-Elysées and the Place de la Concorde before reaching Saint-Germain-des-Près.
The quaint neighborhood of Saint-Germain-des-Prés has a village-like feel to it. Some sites we'll see include the oldest church in the city, dating back to 543, and the Café de Flore, celebrated for its high-profile artistic history while remaining a popular spot for celebrities even now. A coffee here in the past could mean crossing paths with Jean-Paul Sartre, Simone de Beauvoir, Boris Vian, Guillaume Apollinaire, Albert Camus, or Pablo Picasso. We'll return on board the ship.
We'll spend the afternoon cruising on the Seine. This cruise will bring you side by side with the most beautiful sites and monuments in the French capital, such as the Île Saint-Louis, Île de la Cité (where Notre Dame sits majestically despite the damage), the Louvre, Tuileries Garden, Pont Alexandre III, and, of course, the Eiffel Tower and its Trocadéro Gardens. Our ship will dock at the Quai de Grenelle. Tonight's our gala evening and dinner.
Enjoy one last buffet breakfast on board before disembarking at 9.00 a.m. End of our services.
For the safety of our passengers, the captain and crew of the boat may decide to modify the navigational itinerary. The order of the excursions may be reversed to ensure the best organization of your cruise.
