We will pass in front of the Doñana National Park, a UNESCO biosphere natural reserve and arrive in Cádiz in the evening.
This morning, we’ll set out on a guided tour of Cádiz. Built on a rock and surrounded by the sea, this fortified city is connected to the mainland only by a narrow strip of sand. This afternoon, join us for a chance to admire the Pueblos Blancos in Vejer de la Frontera and Conil de la Frontera. The Pueblos Blancos are hilltop village homes painted in bright whitewash surrounded by bucolic scenery. They are symbolic of the ancient Moorish charm found in the region. Tonight's entertainment will be a flamenco show.
We’ll visit the Osborne bodega and taste the local wines.* Our ship will cruise to Isla Minima, where we'll visit an authentic Andalusian hacienda located on the banks of the Guadalquivir and watch a horse show in its private arena. After we return on board, we’ll begin to cruise to Seville.
This morning, we’ll tour the Palacio de las Dueñas. Then, enjoy a free afternoon in Seville.
Or you can join us for an optional excursion (not included in package): Full-day trip to Grenada (available only through reservation before departure). We will leave by coach for a full-day tour of Grenada (driving time is approximately 3 hours round trip). Grenada is known for its Moorish architectural style—especially the majesty of the Alhambra fortress and the Generalife summer palace. After, we will return to Seville. Tonight is our festive gala evening.
Enjoy breakfast on board this morning before disembarking at 9:00 a.m. End of our services.
