Kiji, in the heart of Karelia, is a jewel of 18th century wooden architecture. Its open-air museum, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, includes religious and secular buildings. A stopover in Goritsy will give you the opportunity to immerse yourself in the life of a typical Russian village.
In Mandrogui, a village built for tourism, you will discover Russian handicrafts and in particular the typical wooden "isbas" of the region.
